A unique place dedicated to one of humankind’s most ancient dreams: flying by fluttering one’s own wings.
The first sketch ot the Aérium was written in the sand, on a corsican beach, during the Festival du Vent – Festiventu, in Calvi.
Festival participants were given the chance to learn how to fly by fluttering one’s own wings inside the Calvi airport. Meanwhile, the architect Hans-Walter Müller was presenting a huge inflatable structure on the beach.
To combine both concepts and to fly the Aéroplume inside a bubble structure was the starting point of the Aérium concept. Since that day, Aérosculpture has worked again with architects and manufacturers, in order to give a shape to the Aérium and to bring it to life.
