The Aéroplume is an individual blimp that enables to fly, by fluttering wings. The pilot is lying under a big helium bubble, in a “cocoon” harness. Freed from gravity, equipped with wings, he can fly and move freely in the air by the strength of his arms.
Due to its slow flight speed (3-5 mi/h), its important inertia, the Aéroplume must be practised indoor, sheltered from the weather hazards. The practice of the Aéroplume is therefore accessible to all, at any time, in any season.
